Why Plan-ed?

As part of international children's charity Plan UK we have over 70 years' experience of linking children all over the world.  We have 8000 staff working in 97,000 communities in some of the world's poorest countries. 

How does my school benefit from a link with Plan-ed?

For just £600 a year you will receive:

• A link with a rural school in China, Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone or Senegal supported by Plan-ed
• A chance to communicate with your link school
• A dedicated coordinator to support you and your school throughout the link, actively involved in helping you develop your partnership
• INSET days twice a year to share best practice and develop your career
• Lesson Plans, photographs and DVD's for use across a range of subjects
• Send and receive six letters a year, exchange photos and videos
• Update your blog or download resources from our resource centre
• Exchange visits for you and your link school
• We can help you work towards the full international schools award

£200 of your subscription fee goes to your link school’s development fund.

How do I start my link?

THREE simple steps:

1. Register
2. We will link you straight away with a school in China, Kenya, Malawi, Senegal or Sierra Leone
3. You will receive a School Linking pack with details of your linked school and your first INSET
